Due to a collection cull I can offer a  rare opportunity to purchase a great quality Japanese made  vintage guitar by Yamaha here in the UK.

This rare beauty is a vintage Yamaha SA 1000  guitar from around 1978/79 . This plays, looks  and sounds really  great ( as most of them do).  Yamaha SA's are Virtually unheard of for sale here but  lesser models like the fantastic  SA 700  semi acoustic s are frequently on the market used  in Japan . The SA 1000 also come up too though rarer.  The import and tax costs add up so though these appear sometimes cheaper  be aware!!

This 40+ year example is in very good original and tidy condition for the year. The stunning  Ebony fret board and  dark unfaded walnut finish is rarely seen with other makers other than very high price models nowadays . There is plenty of life in the frets . These also  have great sounding Alnico humbuckers like a Gibson 335 with slightly more attack .

Note the guitar has what appear to be some professionally added inlays on the top below the  stop bar. I suspect  this guitar  may have had a  trapeze or some other stop bar  at some time which left screw holes , but just guessing?

The Nut has been replaced and there is a small slither of wood  missing  to one top back edge of the  headstock. One rear tuner disc  cover is ,(as often the case ),  missing . This has minor finish scratches and marks  as expected for a  43 year old vintage used  guitar!!  Absolutely no cracks, splits and no structural repairs either.

Comes with a heavily padded pro  quality Roksak gig case worth over £40 new.

Far better built guitar than a modern USA made Gibson  335 to me.  I  sold mine years ago and bought two of these!!  .

UK bidders only please , I can ship in the UK .

No returns as this  is just  as described if you want a good vintage  SA 1000( see my feedback as all my listings are as described  or even better).
