Another old school desk VINTAGE (pos Victorian? Edwardian? WW2? 1950s? Not sure) SCHOOL DESK

Think MADE FROM SOLID OAK but may be Pitch Pine !! Not an expert was our school desk before school closed in the 70’s.

a nice piece needs TLC light resto !

Old desk in condition as expected for its age and use (could do with TLC wax and polish but could us pprox 75 can x 50 cm x 50 cm ish (30inchX20inchX20inch ish ) e as is)

Full of character with plenty markings

Good solid construction. Good size storage space.

No external cracks or splits, pos minor arrested split internally

I have listed as 'vintage' to err on the side of caution, but it might even be Victorian or Edwardian - I am not an expert; if anyone knows, please let me know.

Suitable for anyone sitting on a normal-height chair, the wood has a lovely patina and is sympathetic to the oak/pitch pine !!! .

I used this at school when I was 5, that was over 50 years ago!!, have been using this great desk since and decided to leave it 'as is' as.
