These brand new hand crafted sculpted foam grilles have been designed from the ground up exclusively for Dynaco A-25 speakers..Made to perfectly fit into the grille opening of Dynaco A-25 speakers with the Right Hand and Left Hand Tweeters..

Easy installation!!.. These grille assemblies have a plywood backer board already assembled and shimmed with closed cell rubber bumpers and velcro attachment points that gives a clearance space between the speaker drivers and the foam..The plywood backer board also supports the sculpted foam for a perfectly flat and sag-free appearance..

To install the grille assemblies all you will need to do is remove your old grilles and install self adhesive velcro patches (Included) onto the front baffle of your speakers, lightly push grilles into place and your done!!

Fabricated from high quality open cell reticulated speaker foam in our facility here in Central Ohio USA..

*Note..Speakers shown in pics are Not Included..only shown for display purposes

*This listing is for a Pair of 2 grilles.. (You will receive two grille assemblies)...These are brand new sculptured foam grilles that directly fit into vintage Dynaco A25 speakers grille opening..

The sculpted foam have been professionally painted for superior UV protection and to produce the most vivid color with top of the line materials The back sides of the grille foam has not painted and is the natural foam color, which is a dark charcoal gray..Other colors are available just ask..I can do Blue, Black, Maroon, Retro Green, Olive Drab Green

*Please Note*.. Dynaco made a few different variations of the A25 over the years, please be sure to look at the photos of the speakers in this listing and make sure the driver layout looks the same on your speakers first and confirm by sending a photo to me before buying..Shipping is expensive these days, so lets make sure these are the ones you need first please..

There is also the A25 XL model and the grille dimension is slightly larger than the standard A25.. The way i tell if its the XL model is by how thick the cabinet boards look from the front, the standard A25's have thicker wood whereas the XL has thinner wood viewed from the front..Also the original XL grille protrudes out from the cabinet and is not flush to the cabinet like the standard A25's..The XL models have a different woofer and tweeter.. the woofer has a completely round flange..The biggest problem with the XL model is the baffle is not recess in as deep as the standard A25 and there will not be enough clearance for this style grille im offering, the only work around would be to just glue the foam (without backer board) directly to your original grilles frames cloth or a replacement tightly stretched cloth..

The early model A25 had a different driver layout and the Aperiodic vent port was above the tweeter at the top..I have the dimensions needed to make the grilles for the early layout, message me if you need those..

Removal of original grilles can be a bit of a challenge if they have never been removed before.. First remove grille badge by turning it counter clockwise, there is a wood screw attached to the badge.. My advise is to use two thin putty knifes and slide the knife between the wood and fabric covered grille frame and gently try to shift the grille from side to side and top to bottom first..

Once you see it moving start at a corner at top or bottom that seems the loosest and gently pry between wood and grille frame, you will only be able to insert the knife a tiny ways down in and just catch the very top edge of the grille frame so you can fulcrum the putty knife off of the wood cabinet edge..Just watch and be very careful not to damage the cabinet edge will prying..while i did this it left no marks or damage to the cabinet..You will only be able to pry up the grille a little bit at a time and that is where the second putty knife comes in..

Once you have the grille raised slightly with one knife use the other to raise the grille a little more, then back to the first knife and get a new bite and work like that until you get the grille corner up high enough you can fully get a putty knife under..Then its just a matter of working around the entire grille prying up..just be careful not to stick the knife in too far as to hit the woofer, and the glue will be sticking to the cloth so just work at it slow and you will get it and not mess up the original grilles or cloth..

Some say to use a hairdryer and that may help or some say even say to set the speakers in a car on a hot sunny day to warm up the glue..I feel the car trick would really help because this old glue is still flexible after all these years which really shocked me!..So warming it up will help, not sure about the hair dryer trick though
