This rare Nikon Nikkor 50mm F1.8 pancake lens was only sold in the Japanese Market.

Being the rarer version it focuses down to 0.45m as opposed to 0.6m for the other versions.

As a pancake lens it is compact but nonetheless is seen by many to be one of the best lenses of its kind with sharp images delivered everytime.

It's more solid than the other versions making it slightly heavier. The focus is not too loose, the aperture is sharp and snappy and the glass is without fungus.

For its age it is in lovely condition with a couple of marks here and there that don't detract from its quality. A very sought after lens!
