Duchess China England c1900
Decorated in a tradition and popular for the era patten of flowers, flourishes and trellis. Rich Imari colours Iron Red, Cobalt, Green and gold. Printed & Hand painted.

Slop/Sugar bowl - 14cm dia 7cm high
Overall condition for age is good. All saucers & Tea Plates are in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.
6 Cups ring true and 2 do not and this is due to some crazing in the base only. 1 cup with a little nick to the gilt trim. Milk jug & sugar bowl both in good order. The gilding on the trios is good for age with some minor rub. The bread/cake plates, milk & sugar have more gilt rub.
This is an old set that has been loved and used so will have signs of wear such as glaze scratches, minor marks ect and as with a lot of sets of this age may have minor manufacturing imperfections.
