Art Deco Style Round Trinket Box

Pottery, glazed brown in some section, no glaze/light brown in others to form a geometric design. Inside is brown glaze.

Stamped--but I cannot identify the stamp

The shape is unusual as well--round but flat on the bottom so it can sit. The opening has a round edge on one side , but is scalloped on the other three sides.

This unique box was part of an estate with African art, so I believe this to be African. I cannot decipher the stamp on the bottom (review photo). 

Excellent pre owned condition. No chips, cracks, stains, crazing. No issues at all.
