Sometimes even the best behaved dog is required to wear a muzzle (for example to the vets) while some breeds must wear one due to legislation (Dangerous Dogs Act 1991). The Baskerville classic basket dog muzzle has been designed with your dog in mind and the range of sizes allows you to select the one which will be most comfortable and unintrusive to your pet. With this dog muzzle you can enjoy piece of mind while your dog is enjoying their walks.

The new design of the Baskerville dog muzzle has been manufactured using Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) which is lighter than the previous plastic design but 4x as strong. TPR allows the muzzle to be reshaped using hot water to provide a truly custom fit. The new model also has thicker padding on the nose piece for improved comfort during use.

A basket dog muzzle allows your dog to be able to drink and pant as they normally would with the additional guard insert preventing scavenging during walks, eating rocks, coprophagia and wound licking following surgery. With the guard removed you are able to treat reward you dog during training.

The dog muzzle has an easy to adjust neck strap and secure clip to ensure a comfortable and safe fit.  

Please ensure that you measure your dog before ordering as every dog (like humans) are different sizes. To get the length measurement measure the distance from the tip of the nose to the base of the nose just below the eyes. To get the width measurement measure around the circumference of the widest part of the nose which is usually just below the eyes. This is illustrated in one of the pictures on the listing. The length measurement is the most important when selecting a muzzle size.
