Our vintage and rare Omega A. M. 6B / 169 was issued by the MoD to the Air Ministry (RAF) in 1956 to pilots and navigators. Using the robust Omega 302T2 - SC and cased (36mm stainless steel with screw back case, fixed lugs) by Dennison, these were manufactured using a surplus of movements from the WW2 period, from 1956. This Omega is presented in outstanding condition given its age and provenance, and bears the issue 963/ 56 making it an very early example. There is coeval patination to the indices and hands, obviously a very legible watch given its design and purpose. A generic nato / canvas strap is fitted. This example would make a worthy addition to a serious collection whether military focussed or otherwise, or equally a superb everyday vintage watch.
