A Peter Winters product of the famous inverted Curtis Jenny which was a JN-4 Biplane.

Peter Winters engraved a four-stamp plate and depending what a person would pay would be the quality of the stamp he would produce.

He produced 168 blocks of the c3a would also depend on what the person would pay is what kind of paper he would use and on this he used an older paper closely to the stamp paper of the period.

It is also known that he got very concerned when he was told that the stamp in the United States was legal tender so he destroyed the plate and sold the remaining blocks to an auction house in Bremen Germany.

Now there were only seven blocks of this quality of paper engraved and produced the other were lower quality paper and some of the stamp blocks also produced by some type of lithograph process,.... But once he was told that the stamp was still legal tender they were destroyed also by Peter Winter.... So this stamp I am offering came from one of the seven blocks of the best quality and the best quality paper from roughly around the same time as genuine stamps for being made. A very rare engraved copy of exact color and near perfect paper of the genuine C3a inverted Curtis Jenny..... My price may seem expensive but this is the closest that a collector can get to a genuine c3a without spending nearly a million dollars on a single stamp.Shipping is $3.25 in the United States which is included trackin
