Handmade in Italy, each Ichendorf piece is part of a larger range with a theme. In this instance the theme is Marine Garden with 6 designs of tumblers with fish and a green seaweed with amber fish decanter, imbibed with connotations such as “drink like a fish”. “Alessandra Baldereschi is an Italian designer who achieved a Master in Industrial Design at the Domus Academy in 2000. 2001 she moved to Japan, where she developed for ceramic tableware, which has experienced significant part in her artistic and professional training in the field of Design. On her return to Italy immediately began to collaborate and work with famous companies, such as: Chimento, CoinCasa, De Vecchi, Dilmos, Fabbina Illuminazione, Moss NY, Skitsck, Swatch Bijoux and many others and she has developed jewels and various fashion and lighting products. During her career she took part to numerous competitions and she won various prices, such as: honorable mention at Compasso D’Oro ADI for the project CoinCasa; in 2010 was inserted by Ad Spain among the 10 best Designers of the new generation and in 2009 her collection “Le piantine” has been exposed in the exhibition “GLASS” of the designer Li Edelkoort by the meseum “DesignHuis” in Eindhoven.”
