This sale is for a Lladro Figurine No. 5050 entitled "The Dancer" which features a beautifully detailed female ballerina dancer who is holding the hem of her gown in her hands creating a sweeping draping effect.   The gown is a beautiful but is a very simple designed strapless gown featuring a row of what I think represents jewel beading on the bustline.  The gray colored bodice is very fitted and ends in a "V" shape.  The back of the bodice is very low and ends just above the waistline.  The skirt is in a contrasting light purple color and very full.  This is a very elegantly dressed figurine.

The Figurine is 12" tall. This Figurine was introduced in 1974 and is now retired.  This Figurine was designed by Vincente Martinez.  This piece is in excellent condition and has no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs, but I cannot tell if one of her baby fingers is missing a tip.   The tip on her baby finger may be missing.  I just can't tell.  It has glaze to the end of finger, but the center has what resembles a dot.  I can't tell if it is a break.  When compared to the other hand, the baby finger is in a different position.    Please see all my photos for they are part of my description.
