This listing is for a rare Pelikan Pencil.
There is the Pelikan symbol on top(see pictures).
Push top button actuated mechanism.
The top is marked, "AUCH Pelikan D.R.P."(see pictures).
Note: An interpretation of the meaning of AUCH is slang German for "of course it's Pelikan".
D.R.P. stands for Deutsche Republik Patent.
I believe this pencil would match up with a Pelikan No. 100 or 100N model pens(c. 1930's).
The overall condition is "Excellent", very clean and well preserved.
There are no cracks, scratches, or teeth marks.
The chrome clip is clean with no brassing.
The nose cone is brass with gold plating(some mild scratches, see pictures).
The top push button actuated mechanism is in excellent working condition.
Great piece for Pelikan collectors.
