fast ethernet to fibre desktop media converter is designed to extend the
distance of a network by interconnecting LAN devices that are physically
separated by large distances.
This diminutive space-saving
device enables enterprises to connect 100Mbps copper networks to 100Mbps fibre
networks. This offers a cost-effective method for integrating fibre-optic
cabling into a 100Mbps UTP environment.
It can be installed
on a desktop or can optionally be wall mounted (wall mounting brackets are not
supplied and must be procured separately).
The device is easy-to-install
and doesn’t require any software configuration or management.
