Earthbound Uncut is simply Mother 2 with a much better English translation of dialogue. Mother 2 is the Japanese version of Earthbound and this version contains many elements that has been edited out of the official release of Earthbound to North America. All these edited out elements are kept in Earthbound Uncut with the main mod change happening in the dialogue translation from Japanese to English. For example Mother 2 had 'inappropriate' content like Ness walking around naked. All these cut elements were preserved in this uncut version. This version is an essential one to see and play especially if you're an Earthbound aficionado.
