What is the difference between an EAN and UPC number?

EAN numbers are 13 digits long (used everywhere outside of US/Canada) and UPC numbers are 12 digits long and are mainly used in the USA and Canada. However, UPC codes can still be used throughout Europe and the rest of the world.



If I already have a UPC number do I need to purchase an EAN number?

No. You can still sell your product in most retailers that use EAN codes. However, some international stores only accept EANs, which means it's a good idea to check with the retailer in advance.



Do I have to pay any kind of renewal fees or annual membership fees?

No. All our prices are one time only.



How many Barcodes do I need to purchase?

You will need a unique barcode number for each different product and/or product variation.

For example: if you sold a jumper in 5 different designs, 5 different sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL) in each design and 3 different colors in each size, in total - you would need to use 75 different barcode numbers.



None of your eBay listings have the quantity of codes I am looking to buy?

If you require a different quantity of codes, or you need a price without the barcode images (artwork), or a much larger number of codes for a great price, then please email via eBay and we see if we can get a listing up for your required or custom quantity.



Will my barcodes work in every country worldwide?

Yes. Our barcodes will work in any country in the world that has a barcode system. Our barcodes are currently being used all over the world, both online and offline. Many customers usually buy for online uses (Shopify, Amazon, eBay etc).



Will my barcodes work in every offline retail store worldwide?

No. There are some offline retailers which will require you to supply them with A GS1 certificate. A GS1 certificate is only issued to you when you rent your numbers directly from GS1. No barcode reseller can issue you with a GS1 certificate. Most retailers (99%+) do not require a GS1 issued certificate.

If you are not sure, then please check with your retailer beforehand for their barcoding requirements.

Please note that is it your responsibility to clarify with a retailer(s) to see if they require you to provide them with a GS1 certificate and to have your details within the GS1 database. If this is the case, then again, you can only rent codes directly from GS1.



Will my barcodes work on any Amazon site worldwide?

Yes - around 99%+ of the time. Many of the barcodes we sell are used to list products on amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.au, amazon.in, amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.es, amazon.mx, amazon.nl, amazon.co.uk, amazon.ae and all other Amazon sites Worldwide.

Our barcode numbers are accepted on any Amazon site worldwide - except in the following conditions:

1. Products with an existing ASIN number. 
2. If you are doing or plan to do Brand Registry.
3. Certain Brands/Trademarks which already have existing barcodes on their product(s) - Nike, Adidas to name a few.

The T&Cs on Amazon for their Brand Registry are different. For Amazon’s Brand Registry Program – they require you to rent your numbers directly from GS1.

About 99% of customers who buy codes from us and want to use the codes only on Amazon, have no listing problems whatsoever.

If you experience any kind of listing issues on Amazon (error code 8572, 8541 etc) please kindly email us for possible solutions.

For any other online marketplace other than Amazon - there is a 0% error rate.



How will I receive my barcodes if I buy from you?

You will receive your barcode order files digitally and by email only. No physical barcodes are sent via the post. Please provide a working email address at the time of your order. Please note that Hotmail email addresses can sometimes be problematic in sending zip files.



When will I receive my barcodes order, how long does it take?

All orders are processed the very same day payment is received, seven days a week. Most orders are sent within a few hours.



I have not received my barcodes order, where is it?

Please check your junk/spam email folders. If the order is not there, then please contact us via eBay. All orders are sent as a zip file to the email address you specify at checkout, or to your Paypal email address.
