YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT THAT THE ITEM PICTURED IS THE ACTUAL ITEM YOU ARE PURCHASING. 

 THE ASSEMBLY IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. NO RUST PITTING OR CORROSION. NO WELDS OR REPAIRS. I ALWAYS RUN A TAP THROUGH ALL THE MOUNTING HOLES AS PART OF MY REBUILD TO INSURE TROUBLE FREE INSTALLATION. THE ORIGINAL PARTS HAVE BEEN DISASSEMBLED, THOROUGHLY BEAD BLASTED, REFINISHED IN LOW GLOSS BLACK, THE NEW PIVOT BUSHINGS LUBED, NEW PEDAL PADS AND STAINLESS TRIM INSTALLED, AND THE FINISHED COMPONENTS REASSEMBLED, READY TO INSTALL.

I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS LONG ENOUGH TO HAVE DONE SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISONS OF MUSTANG, FALCON, AND FAIRLANE PEDAL ASSEMBLIES. IN SPITE OF WHAT YOU READ IN SOME OTHER SELLERS LISTINGS, MUSTANG FITS ONLY MUSTANG, FALCON/COMET FITS ONLY FALCON/COMET, AND FAIRLANE FITS ONLY FAIRLANE. THE FALCON/COMET PEDAL SUPPORT IS 2 INCHES LONGER THAN THE MUSTANG SUPPORT. THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE!
