RARE TELESCOPIC TOASTING FORK STERLING SILVER & OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE Sheffield 1800
Hallmarks for Sheffield 1800
Dimensions: approx 710mm long (28 inches) full extended; 260mm long (10 inches) when fully retracted
Weight: 236g
Condition: Good. The largest section of the telescopic tubes is loose and drops back inside the handle, could possibly be corrected by an expert. The other two extending tubes are firm when extended. Dings, small dents, surface scratches and tarnishing. Tines a little bent in places. Warm copper tones bleeding through on the Old Sheffield plated parts but minimal. Leather handle cover in good antique condition. Wear commensurate with age and use. Please see photos and if you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask.
