1936 Sheffield Sterling Silver Cocktail Forks w. Nat. MoP Tops, Original Box.

Today is your lucky day - things like these don’t appear on the market that often.

These are little cocktail forks made by Emile Viner (he later changed his last name to Viener) in Sheffield. Viner made silver items for King George V.

The funny thing is that three forks are marked for 1934, the other three 1936. I don’t know whether the maker’s shop put them together or someone else later. Other than that, they are perfect and come in an original Viner’s box.

The tops are made from natural mother-of-pearl.

It took me years to decide to sell this set.

I’ll say no more.
