LISTED HERE 2 RARE HISTORICAL HARDBACK WAR MAPS/ CHARTS

Peenemunde 1944
Two Illustrations showing the German rocket testing and production site at Peenemunde on the Baltic coast, and a detailed diagram of the storage and launching procedure for the V-2 rockets that were built there. Allied intelligence officers first became aware that Germany was producing a pilotless missile, the jet-powered V-1, at Peenemunde in mid-1943, leading to a diversion of forces from the Strategic Bombing Offensive for Operation 'Crossbow'. Launched in August, this targeted both the production facilities and the launch sites on the French Channel coast. September 1944 saw the first attacks on London by V-2 liquid-fuel-powered ballistic rockets, some 5,000 of which had been launched by the end of March 1945, when production at Peenemunde ended.
