This antique French fruit colander strainer is a handcrafted piece from Europe, made of coppered tin. With a diameter of 6 inches, it is a unique addition to any French country collection.

The style of the strainer is hand made primitive and it is an original piece made in the late 1800s - early 1900s. The strainer is in good condition and has a copper exterior which is quite worn over a tin liner.

The piece is all handmade, pressed out of tin with a copper enameling on the outside. The holes were all hand punched, and the rim rolled. It has a brass hanging ring welded onto one end. It is 1 1/4” inches thick.

Perfect for straining berries or small items in the kitchen, as well as a wonderful decorative collectible.
