Antique Aesthetic Eastlake Japanesque Japonisme Victorian Brass Hanging Parlor Library Lamp Frame for 14” Shade

Gorgeous bright & clean lamp frame!!! Authentic 1880 Victorian hanging lamp frame.  Will hold a ~13••7/8 / 14 inch shade.  Has a raised rim around the the shade ring to support the shade.  Rim has holes for prisms to hang.  No prisms included in this sale.

Has what seems to be all of the original decorative elements and parts including unusual chains, hooks, and font holder.  Has some very decorative and unusual elements, including 2 horizontal bars that are parallel to the shade rim as shown in photo #2 and other photos.

NOTE:  This frame would hang from a lamp leveler so the chains at the top will actually be about 8 inches apart as shown in my first two photos. Please see the original catalog line drawing in the last photo to see how the lamp should be hung.  Correct period lamp levelers and motors are readily available on ebay.

Original antique bright glow brass patina.  Appears never polished or cleaned.

No damage.
