Description

Object: Kakiemon bowl from the mid-Edo period (18th century), decorated in the typical Kakiemon style and palette in overglaze enamels.


Decoration: In the well, two deer and some scattered maple leaves; around the rim, more maple leaves and abstract symbols.


Size: Diameter 13 cm (5").

Marks: None.

State: One footrim chip (see pictures).
