We’ve been selling karaoke since 1988. That’s a long time! When I wanted to put my business phone number in the Yellow Pages the “karaoke” category did not even exist. I had to list the business under “Musical Accompaniment”. I’ve seen a lot of changes in these three decades. The formats that we have used to listen to our music has gone from cassette tapes and Laser Discs to Compact Discs w/Graphics, MP3+G and digital downloads. What this karaoke disc features are professionally produced re-recordings of some of Etta James' harder to find tracks, songs like 'Sugar On The Floor' and 'Hound Dog' (She did that song before Elvis). but it goes beyond those two songs. As a singer her songs are unique and often cannot be put into any one genre. Her songs have graced the Top 40, Rhythm & Blues, Gospel and now the Oldies Charts. This disc is has all those songs but also the songs that we may have come to love and that have been covered by Beyonce, Celine Dion, Cher, and Christina Aguilera, just to name a few.
