This was new in the box I removed him from box (it’s an elastic band holding him in) to put in new batteries. Luckily old batteries had not exploded so compartment is clean. Put in new batteries and sounds work and motor kicks on but I assume the belt has deteriorated that made him jump. I really didn’t feel like taking him all apart so selling him as he functions currently as seen in video. Still has some spring to him and as I said motor kicks on just no jump action.
