This is a morris chair. A very early version of a futon as it is a comfy chair that you can sit in and put your feet up or fully recline it to make a day bed for a snooze or a child's bed if you need a spare. It has at some time had new cushions with a more modern covering in blue and purple check pattern. These would benefit from some ties or velcro to keep them still if used as a bed. Our little niece did sleep on it when she was younger. A cracking piece of versatile antique design. Not as ornate as some examples but not as expensive too. Collection only due to size. PRICE DROPPED AND NO RESERVE.
