Item up for bid is a gorgeous antique clock statue. This piece is constructed of spelter and is non magnetic when tested. Someone at one point in the life of this piece attempted to enhance it's stand alone decorative character by adding glitter and a felt pad on the underside of the base. Glitter on the surface is visible throughout and felt shows no rips, tears or holes with only patina and yellowing consistent with age. Glitter was very hard to pick up in photographs so please be aware there is glitter on the surfaces of all sides.

Base of the statue shows two manufacturer created holes to allow it to have been secured to a clock base or top. Top of the hat shows a manufacturer's created mold hole. Item has no maker's mark that we can see with no cracks or breaks in the metal. Original gold tone paint shows wear and loss. Item measures 9" top to bottom by 8-1/4" wide across the base by 3-3/8" front to back at the base. Wonderfully done antique original that comes fresh to the market.
