Antique Victorian Stevens & Williams Opaque Glass Applique Large Hanging Bell

This impressive piece of Antique opaline is a striking example of British giants Stevens & Williams' applique glassware. Created in a deep Pink cased Opaline, with applique details it is a beautifully made piece. With its fabulous applied yellow flower and trailed leaves in green glass wrapping around and contrasting against its vibrant pink glass as well as its neon green inner lining or layer of cased opaline joined with an applied light amber glass frill. This as well as its ribbed and hand worked deep amber glass handle combine to create a clearly technical and truly spectacular piece that is accentuated by its large size and skirted shape. A wonderful piece of art glassware and a unique addition to any collection or display.

Please Note: It does not have a ringer though the hook inside for one is there and made from applied amber glass.

Condition is 'Used' - Good vintage condition with only minor wear commensurate with age. Please note it does not have a ringer. As photographed.

Approximate Measurements:

13.5cm tall and 13cm wide at widest point. 12cm width of bell (without flower)  Handle is 2.5cm tall and 3.5cm wide at widest detail points and the flower is 4cm by 4cm.
