Lots of 18th century English nautical charts for charting, maritime courses, etc.

I'm not sure if there are three complete maps. I found the key/ legend for three maps including the Shetland Islands, and the North Sea.

These are really really old, large and are on heavy chain-lined paper. The oldest one is dated 1787 which was during the infancy of our republic and shortly before beginning of the War of 1812 with England.

Condition:

Unfortunately, these require conservation since they have numerous rips, tears, etc. Also, due to the way these were stored over the centuries, they have become stuck together in certain spots and require careful attention in order to separate them.

Therefore, I'm offering these at a bargain price to take this into account.
