Dog Slicker Brush. Soft Pin - Small.

Some pets love it and others loathe it but grooming your pet is vital to helping them to remain both healthy and clean. It is also an exceptionally good bonding activity. To aid this a long lasting, safe and sturdy slicker brush is essential. With this slicker brush your pet can enjoy/tolerate hours of quality grooming.

Mikki's soft pin slicker brush has specially designed medium length metal slicker pin bristles mounted on an air cushion which helps to reduce excessive brushing force while enhancing grooming action. The slicker brush’s head is also flexible to minimise discomfort to your pet during the grooming process.

The bristles help to both ease matts and tangles and to remove loose and dead hair from the undercoat. The soft pin slicker brush is ideal for long and medium coated dogs.

The small slicker brush measures approximately 20cm x 9cm x 4cm (8" x 3.5" x 1.5") and is perfect for both professional groomers and regular pet owners. The ergonomic thumb and hand grip allows for comfort and flexibility during grooming.

The manufacturer recommends the following instructions for use:

Use gentle stroking actions to allow the slicker pins to ease through matts and tangles and remove any dead hair from both the top coat and the undercoat - leaving the coat clean and healthy. Be gentle and careful at first until you are familiar with the action. Remove dead hair from the slicker every few strokes so you get the best grooming results.

N.B. Slickers are not suitable for “corded” coats (Puli, Komodor etc). Use the slicker as a weekly maintenance item after removing mass moulted hair with the Moult Master (ideal for all coat types except wool).
