Vintage bamboo fly rod Japan 8',  4 pieces in original wooden box, unbranded.

Rod and box are all in very good original condition.

Rod is dark tan with red and black wraps; rod finish has some orange peel or bubbling, see photos. All metal is bright, no rust, no cracks.

Three pieces fit to make an approximately 8' fly rod. Two pieces fit to make a heavier 63" rod.

The box is intact but one front locking hinge flap is missing.
