I got this item with some other cameras that I bought at a sale. I didn't have a camera to test it on. I bought two batteries to see if it would light up, which it did. It says on the box that it has a 100'/30m working distance and is compatible with and Pentax and Samsung DSLs. Comes with new batteries and two 10" cables that hooks into the cameras.
