This pickup is an authentic recreation of a late '50s Gibson PAF humbucker - all the way down to the nickel slugs, maple spacers, nickel-plated pole pieces, and Alnico II magnets. PAF-style humbuckers are renowned at for their ability to provide full-range richness and sparkling articulation, all with a completely hum-free operation courtesy of their dual-coil construction and wax-potted design.
