This is a pair of vintage Metropolitan Museum Art Ceramic Tile REPRODUCTIONS, from Italian kitchens in the 16 century. The last picture has a typed explanation of the source of these tiles. Apparently, a cookbook for Pope Pius V.

The ceramic tiles, have no chips, cracks or crazing and there is felt on the back of each, as well as a “ring” so they could be hung on a wall, although you would need to remove the paper attached to one of them to get to the “ring”.

They each weigh approximately 9 ounces and are 6 inches square.

Please zoom in on the pictures and see the 360 degree video for a closer look.

I pack with lots of bubble wrap for safe shipping and ship out quickly, sometimes same day, always by next business day, and sometime on Saturday if I can get to the post office before it closes at noon.

Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking!
