This item is a Revere Ware, Pre-1968, 6 Quart Dutch Oven with Domed Lid.

We are estimating this pot to be from the early 1950's based on information we obtained from the family it was purchased from.

This pot is part of the 1400 Line produced by Revere Ware.

The pot has two handles, and the lid has a center handle knob.  All the handles were made of Bakelite.

This Dutch Oven measures 10" in diameter taken on the inside x 4.5" depth.  The lid is 10" and is domed.

The Dutch Oven pot has a double ring to accommodate the included special taller domed lid.

The bottom has the double ring trademark that reads the following:

"Copper Clad Stainless Steel, 1801 Revere Ware, Patent 2272609, Made Under Process Patent 2363973, Riverside, CA".
