I took it apart to replace the broken glass panes and there is the number 73 written on the inside which I think is the last person who did maintenance on the scale was in 1973. They did a minor restoration with paint. When I got it, the pan was completely black and caked with crud. I cleaned it up enough to show the beauty of the brass, but also left some of the scars that she has earned through over 100 years of existence. The pan has cracks in it that were soldered.. not by me probably in the 70s. It is an accurate scale with a lot of potential and a lot of original everything.. I can figure out the cheapest way for shipping if you provide a ZIP Code
