A stunning bronze of a hunting dog with its prey.

This piece, of a greyhound or whippet, is signed for Jean Francois Theodore Gechter (1792 - 1844) who in the latter part of his career became known for smaller studies of animals.

This bronze has a pleasing patina and is in overall excellent condition. It measures just over 14.5cm in length and stands at just under 13cm tall.
