Fukuro-obi is an obi where the outer material and lining are cylindrical (bag-shaped). Since it is a name given to its shape, it can be worn in various situations, but it can be summarized in one word as ``fukuroobi.''

When tied in a common way called otaiko, the fabric on the back becomes two layers, making this obi obi mainly suitable for formal occasions, but depending on the color and pattern and material, it can also be worn for casual occasions.
