GENUINE British Army 58 Pattern butt pouch - interesting item introduced for Northern Ireland and used to support SLR butt whilst standing guard etc (troops in NI often carried SLR without slings so that they could not be grabbed away by hostile locals). These also found a use in carrying hexi stove as a folded stove fits snugly inside. Belt drop loop and C-hooks on back to attach to 58 web belt (or other belt). Manufacturer marked and dated 'M.W. & S. 1974' with code and broad arrow. UNISSUED MINT condition.

Please see my other listings for other unissued mint webbing items and more rare militaria :)
