HO scale model of four West German express coaches of the Deutsche Bundesbahn used in night train services in the 1970s.  The set includes four coaches in classic early Epoch 4 livery:

·      Roco 44752 Bm 2nd-class compartment coach in green

·      Roco 44745 ARümh “Kakadu” half-dining coach in blue/red

·      Roco 64029 Bcm 2nd-class couchette coach in blue with light grey skirts

·      Roco 64056 WLABümh DSG mixed 1st/2nd-class sleeping coach in red with beige roof

All coaches are reproduced in prototypical length, 315 mm for the 44745 and 303 mm for the others, measured buffer-to-buffer.  All coaches are fitted with Roco close-couplers for a prototypical buffer-to-buffer appearance.  Coach axles have been painted with Uhlenbrock 40410 resistive paint or fitted with Roco 40186 conducting axles for compatibility with occupancy detectors such as Uhlenbrock 63340, but this does not interfere with regular DC or DCC operation. The 44745 has a couple of minor scratches on its roof, as shown in the photos.  Packaging as shown in the photos, some with missing or incorrect labels, is included.  This set allows modeling of a classic colourful DB night train consist of the 1970s in a layout-friendly length, or just add some more Bm coaches for a more typical consist.
