The item is issued and in used condition and has an old military odour to it. 

In fairly good condition for age. There is some fraying to the part between the acorn and the ribbon. The bottom of the acorn has the green felt part missing. I assume the acorn inner is made of cork or similar. 

Weight of Troddel is 30g. Length of ribbon is 30 cm. Length of acorn and joint is 8cm. 

Nice original item that would look great on display around a bayonet on a mannequin.
