We are offering an 1834 Stampless Letter / Postal Cover with a hand-stamped Boston postmark. **NOTE** - There is no postage stamp, as postage stamps were not issued until 1847, it has a hand-written number that we assume refers to postage.  The letter, dated August 11, 1834, is to the Wareham Bank, Wareham, Massachusetts from the Suffolk Bank regarding bank business.  **NOTE** - As was common during this period, the letter also served as the envelope by folding it a certain way, addressing it, and sealing with a red wax seal.  (See images for Condition)
