As a licensed psychotherapist and anthropologist, I have created a number of sets of figures for sand tray therapy. These figures are smaller than standard sand tray figures, designed specifically for therapists and interns who have do not have the space for a traditional sand tray set up.

The figures range from 7/8 inch to 3-3/4 inches.

I also sell portable wooden sand trays (which measure 12 inches by 9-3/4 inches by 3 inches) and a number of other thematic sand tray figure sets.

These figures can be used for any standard-sized sand trays or without a sand tray as part of narrative therapy and other humanistic counseling traditions. Many children with special needs, including children on the autism spectrum, may also find these helpful. I am aways happy to put together custom sets.

This set of figures focuses on items associated with home, domesticity, family, and responsibility. Family and home are key to where we learn to express ourselves through art, music, cooking, writing. It's where we begin to learn the practical skills needed for the working world and the other responsibilities of adulthood. Home is the place where we first learn about risk and reward, about fortune and misfortune and favoritism. It's where many people are taught to be ashamed of themselves.

Included in this set are the following items: 1 bed; 2 chairs; 1 toilet; 1 garbage can; 1 sponge; 1 broom; 1 bucket; 1 compass; 1 pencil; 1 television; 1 ladder; 1 telephone; 2 pipes; 1 ticket booth; 2 tools; 1 musical instrument; 1 screw with bolt; 1 china teacup with saucer; 1 sewing bobbin; 1 spool; 1 handmade doily; 2 "healthy" and 2 "unhealthy" pieces of food; 1 eyeball; 1 head and 1 brain; 1 arm and 1 leg; 1 shoe; 1 hairbrush or comb; 1 smiley face; 1 magnifying glass; 1 graduation cap; 1 camera or pair of binoculars; 1 pair of glasses; 1 megaphone; 1 textured bead; 1 spring; 2 gears; 1 carpet;  2 light bulbs; and 1 Teddy bear.

There may be minor variations between the pieces in the photographs and what you will receive.
