We’ve been selling karaoke since 1988. That’s a long time! When I wanted to put my business phone number in the Yellow Pages the “karaoke” category did not even exist. I had to list the business under “Musical Accompaniment”. I’ve seen a lot of changes in these three decades. The formats that we have used to listen to our music has gone from cassette tapes and Laser Discs to Compact Discs w/Graphics, MP3+G and digital downloads. The good news for those that still have a karaoke cd+g player is that we still have thousands of discs still available, many of them are rare and hard-to-find, such as this one.
This is indeed a unique offering of the songs of the great Matchbox Twenty, possibly one of the most overlooked alternative rock bands from the 90's and early 2000's. Most have a great admiration for some of their recordings that made it onto the Top 40 like 'Unwell' and 'If You're Gone' but this disc features some hard to find tracks such as 'Mad Season', 'Crutch' (from VH1 Storytellers), 'Hand Me Down' and many more! Add in the other songs listed below and you've got an awesome collection from Matchbox Twenty to sing! This disc includes songs that are quite difficult to find, the nineteen listed below.
