The Warman Maelstrom is the perfect solution for when you need that big fat humbucker tone sat right there in your standard routed Strat type guitar. A single coil sized pickup that contains a 15k twin coil 4 wire humbucker with 12 adjustable pole pieces. The combination of the tall slim wound coils, carbon steel cores and Alnico 5 base magnet produce the perfect tones for the most powerful blues and rock grooves, riffs and slamming solos.Each of the coils is copper tape shielded and wax potted.

The 4 wire shielded output cable gives you a variety of wiring options. It comes wired, as standard, with both coils in series, but with the addition of either push pull pots or one of our 3 way mini toggles you can get series, parallel and coil cut tones for true tonal versatility.

Supplied with free height screws and springs. 

Please note that some pickguards may require the aperture to be modified to square out the corners to match the casing profile.

Bare wire - overall earth wire 

Black wire, negative coil 1

White wire, positive coil 1

Red wire, negative coil 2

Green wire, positive coil 2

The pole screws are factory set at the optimum setting, whilst they are a threaded inserts screw the threads are very, very, fine and easy to strip if too much torsional pressure is used ( as in go easy if you really feel you need to adjust the pole screws )
