We’ve been selling karaoke since 1988. That’s a long time! When I wanted to put my business phone number in the Yellow Pages the “karaoke” category did not even exist. I had to list the business under “Musical Accompaniment”. I’ve seen a lot of changes in these three decades. The formats that we have used to listen to our music has gone from cassette tapes and Laser Discs to Compact Discs w/Graphics, MP3+G and digital downloads. The good news for those that still have a karaoke cd+g player is that we still have thousands of discs still available, many of them are rare and hard-to-find, such as this one.
This is indeed a unique offering of the songs from Ricky Nelson, one of the first "teen idols" to come out of the 1950's and continuing into the 1970's. Most of us are familiar with his number one hits like "Hello Mary Lou" & "Travelin' Man" but if you followed his career you would know that there are many other songs featured on this disc that were Top 40 Hits. Included are some harder to find tracks as well, including choices such as "Wonder Of You", "Teenage Idol" "Poor Little Fool" and "Sweeter Than You". In total there are 18 Songs on this disc.
