Here for sale is One Vintage Timmee/Processed Plastic "Rat Patrol" Large Army Jeep with Two MPC Dark Green Sitters that are all in very good condition. This is one of the very first original jeeps of this type as it still has the spare tire mounted on the back of the vehicle. Both the Serial Number Sticker and the Star Decal are still present on the left right side of the jeep.
Please note that the original spare tire carrier was broken off from the jeep and that a new spare tire has been glued to the back of the jeep with epoxy. One of the two pegs that hold the gun in place with the mount is broken, although the gun shows well with just the one remaining peg. Perhaps you could use this item in your own Classic Collection or Diorama. Relive the magic!
The Rat Patrol was an American action and adventure television series that aired on ABC between 1966 and 1968. The show followed the exploits of four Allied Soldiers - three Americans and one British - who were part of a long-range desert patrol group in the North African campaign during World War II. Their mission was to "attack, harass, and wreak havoc on Field Marshal Rommel's vaunted Africa Korps." For those of us who were watching at the time, it was a really cool TV show.
