Product Introduction:
This module is a finished module for scientific small-scale high-voltage inverters, transformers/boosters. After DC3.7V-6V voltage is input at the input end, tens of thousands of volts of DC high voltage can be obtained at the output end, which can be used as high voltage for science popularization experiments in middle schools, electronic instruments, negative ion generators, and small science production. The module is made using the principle of Tesla coil, and outputs high-voltage pulse current. It is small in size, high in efficiency, and simple in peripheral circuit (just connect the switch, and the battery can). The discharge intensity is strong.

Product Usage:
The module is divided into input and output terminals. The red and green lines are the input terminals, with the red line being positive and the green line being negative. The other end has a double red thick high-voltage output terminal, which is fixed at a suitable distance from the high-voltage line terminal. The input terminal can be connected to a battery to generate a high-voltage arc;
About the input power supply: a single 3.7V lithium battery can be used, such as 18650 battery, idle mobile phone battery (to remove the protective plate, the recommended capacity is more than 2000mAh), or nickel cadmium/Nickel–metal hydride battery pack, Lead–acid battery, etc.
 
Module usage precautions:
1. The high-voltage module should avoid being powered on when the high-voltage is unloaded. Before powering on, the appropriate distance between the high-voltage wire ends must be adjusted. The arcing distance of the high-voltage wire is proportional to the battery voltage and capacity used.
2. When testing the arc distance, the experiment should be conducted from short to long. It is strictly prohibited to exceed the maximum arc pulling distance when powered on. Due to the inability to release high-voltage energy, it is very easy to damage the module.
3. The module has high power and is not suitable for internal heat dissipation, so it cannot be operated for a long time. It works for 3-5 seconds at a time.
4. The way to determine whether the battery capacity can drive the maximum output power is to measure the battery voltage during arc pulling. If it is around 6V, the maximum power output can be achieved.
5. A small capacity lithium battery connected in series has a voltage of 3.7V, and the measured voltage has dropped to around 2V in the arcing state. The smaller the capacity, the lower the voltage. So it is recommended to use a lithium battery with a capacity of over 2000MA, and it is best to have a battery with a capacity of over 4000MA if possible.
