Vintage Care Bear Poseable from Peru

This vintage poseable was sold by the company Basa in Peru. They were sold without belly symbols there.

Basa was a company that had licensing from Kenner to use Care Bears molds during the 80s.

The stamp mold says Hong Kong 1983 like other bears sold at that time.

This figure was found second hand in Lima, Peru.

The plastic for the figure is a bit different than a traditional Tenderheart Bear poseable. 

The paint is also different and there is no hole on his head for a hair tuft.

I have pictured the Basa figure beside a regular US Tenderheart for comparison.

The regular Tenderheart is not included in this listing. You will only receive the "blank" belly Basa bear.

He's a neat part of Care Bears history and CB items by Basa only show up every once in a blue moon.
