This is a very rare Japan 2005 reissue CD album of Blur's "The Great Escape" complete with 2 bonus tracks plus an OBI strip. This was a very limited edition reissue (of a reissue) with an identical catalogue number but a revised OBI strip to the original 2005 reissue. This version isn’t even listed on Discogs so its rarity is assured!
The album features hits such as "Country House" and "The Universal" and is considered a Britpop classic. The CD is in near mint condition (NM or M-) and comes in a standard jewel case, which is also in excellent condition (EX). The inlays are also in near mint condition (NM or M-).
Released in 2005 by EMI Music Distribution, this album is a must-have for any collector of 1990s Britpop or indie rock. This Blur album is a timeless classic that deserves a place in any music lover's collection.
The front inlay is an 18 page colour booklet with the song lyrics for the 15 main original tracks in English. Also included is a double sided 6 panel black and white foldout sheet with all 17 song lyrics in Japanese plus the lyrics for the 2 bonus tracks in English.
