The hard drives are in EXCELLENT condition. The photos you see are representative of the units available.

Multiple brands are available including Hitachi, Fujitsu, Western Digital, Seagate, and Toshiba. This drive is loaded and ready to go.

Install into your existing caddy, plug it into the hard drive bay and boot up. Drive ships with "Administrator" account active and system is ready for User Accounts.

NOTE:  This does NOT come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).  Legally, you must own a Dell COA, but is not required to boot.

  • The drive has been fully "scrubbed" and tested (WD DataLifeguard and HD Tune diagnostics)
  • Legal Windows XP load has been restored and updated
  • DELL OEM install using SLIC in BIOS (no need for Certificate of Authenticity)

Windows XP Note:  Microsoft has decided that Windows XP has reached EOL (End of Life) on April 8, 2014.

This does not mean Windows XP will stop functioning.

All this means is that there will be no more operating system updates after this date through Windows Update.

The unit must be in the same condition as it was purchased, with all accessories, and original packaging.

Customer is responsible for return shipment (including insurance)


Bits-N-Bytes warranties the product against DOA and any unlisted, non-cosmetic defects for a FULL thirty (30) days.

If you receive an item that does not work upon receipt, or is broken or defective (except listed exclusions), please contact us so we can remedy the situation.

Save all original packaging to use for return shipment.

After thirty (30) days, no warranties of any kind apply to the item and it is to be considered sold "as-is."
